Greenhouse Yoga presents The Gritty Buddha Life Enrichment & YTT Course, an immersive, experiential contemplative dive into ancient philosophies and modern science, applied to life as we know it.

Students graduate with a profound understanding of how to live and teach their yoga.

What you’ll learn:

Ashtanga Vinyasa; Is the disciplined and linear tradition underneath the Greenhouse Yoga practice. You’ll dig deep into its method, progression and lineage to build the structure for the program.

Flow; Progressive, intuitive, expressive and empowering, you’ll learn the Architecture & Design of the Greenhouse practice. Understand principles of Masterful Sequencing, how to create a sacred environment and use language that is concise and clear to inspire action in students.

Yin Yoga; Deeply passive and healing, you’ll learn the ways the body responds to the intensity of the Yin practice. Understand the energetic, meditative and physical benefits that make Yin a universally beneficial practice and necessary part of your life.

Divine Design of Anatomy; The body is wise and intelligent beyond measure and we approach anatomy from that angle. You’ll learn basic principles of movement and come to understand the way different structures and tissues in the body communicate and dance together.

Science of Breath; Learn the physiology of breath and many practices that can be called on to influence the nervous system and your reactions.

Meditation and Science; Throughout this program students build a consistent meditation practice as a means to more deeply understand themselves and then wish good to the world. A blend of neuroscience, mindfulness and compassion comes together through our daily practice.

Applied Philosophy; By exploring ancient yoga texts, Buddhist writings, scientific research and combining it with daily actions, we learn how to apply these teachings to live a more conscious existence. As we live them, we can speak them, teach them.
